About Christina Pantazopoulos

Dr. Christina Pantazopoulos is a leader in orthopedic surgery and is among the best trained and most experienced foot and ankle specialists in the region. Located in the heart of downtown Riverside, Dr. Pantazopoulos and the Riverside Orthopedic Institute team are committed to serving the community of the Inland Empire Region. Her primary focus is on restoring her patient’s health back to their normal quality of life through the use of some of the most advanced cutting-edge technology and minimally invasive techniques for the care of musculoskeletal conditions in adults and children. Dr. Pantazopoulos specializes in foot and ankle surgery, sports-related foot and ankle injuries, and osteoarthritis.

A graduate of New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Pantazopoulos then completed her residency at Riverside University Health System in Moreno Valley, California and a foot and ankle fellowship at Oakland Bone and Joint in Oakland, California.

Partnering with the Riverside Orthopedic Institute team, which is comprised of leading orthopedic surgeons in the region and Riverside Community, only furthers her commitment to her patient to deliver personalized attention combined with exceptional, comprehensive orthopedic care.

Dr. Pantazopoulos’s decision to become an orthopedic surgeon came from her lifelong love of athletics and her understanding of the impact of injury and recovery. She enjoys the challenge of helping patients with severe foot and ankle trauma, injuries or disease, which limit their ability to lead an active lifestyle. It is rewarding to hear back from patients following reconstructive or ankle replacement surgery, saying they have been able to resume activities such as walking, skiing and hiking.

When not on call or seeing patients, Dr. Pantazopoulos stays active with outdoor activities; she enjoys running and spending time with friends and family.
